Not Like Other Grannies

Here is a recent photo of my grandmother. As always, she is Not Like Other Grannies. This photo was in the newspaper when she won a contest at the bank’s Grand Opening to play in the Shower of Cash game. They put her in a box, turn a knob, and money starts to shower down on her from above, and she gets to keep as much as she can grab. My grandmother, always the one with a sharp eye, noticed that the dollar bills were gathering in a corner on the floor, so instead of grabbing money as it fell, she did the smart thing and started scooping it up. The result? You can see it in the photos.

She told us she thinks it’s the best photo of her in years, and she wants to have it blown up into a poster and put on the wall. That’s my granny.
