Red for Christmas

I know I will laugh about this one day. On top of being sick the past 5 days, the Christmas tree that was brought in last night whilst I was sick in bed happens to be of a variety I am obviously highly allergic to.

So to add yet another layer of misery, pain and discomfort to my already sickness-wracked self, I awoke this morning completely broken out in hives.

Arms, legs, neck, even my face is covered in red inflammation. Interesting way to be in season.

I think I might actually start laughing by now, if there was a way to laugh without moving the muscles on my face.
