TwilightGuy On TV

May 11th, 2008 by --KALEB NATION--

If you didn’t hear from TwilightGuy.com, my name was called out on the intercom at the big Stephenie Meyer book signing down the road yesterday, for me to go backstage and meet the author herself. Trouble is, I wasn’t there. Tickets had sold out before I could get in! So if you were one of the loyal readers who searched the cubbyholes for me, you have my deepest thanks– and sympathy as well, because you might as well have been searching for The Invisible Man ;) . I would have given anything to be there and meet her.

Thankfully, though, this video has brightened my spirits :D . Some cool person mentioned me as The Twilight Guy to a TV station in Utah while camping out for The Host at a bookstore:

And, a cool, yet blurry, clip about Stephenie in the middle :D

K, I’m already reading the book…I hate you!

Now I’m hooked…you have to get Stephenie Meyer’s autograph for me!

    and oh…C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S!

I guess the Tv exposure means more hits..wait ’til she gets to Oprah!!!

Coolio. Too bad you couldn’t have been there, though, but don’t let that get you down! :D

That is so awesome, Kaleb! Lucky, lucky you! Too bad you weren’t there, though.

There are two things that could’ve happened to get you there anyway.

1, if only you were warned that Stephenie wanted to meet you, it probably wouldn’t have mattered if the tickets were sold out. They would’ve had to let you in. Phantom Opera cape or not.
2, the fans should’ve gone by your place and kidnapped you and taken you to the event instead of just looking for you AFTER they arrived. I’m sure you wouldn’t have minded, unless they didn’t give you time (while kidnapping you) to let you comb your hair and such.

    There, see? NOT you fault.
